Switch to TMR over a week

Day 1–2: a quarter of the new feed, the rest as before. Day 3–4: half. Day 5–6: three quarters. Day 7: all TMR-E. A sudden change can upset the stomach and drop milk for a few days. If the animal eats less, stay one more day at the same step.
