Area Business Manager – Bengaluru

As an Area Business Manager for Fertile Green Industries Private Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing sales activities, strengthening of distributor network and managing overall business operations within your designated area. You will take initiative for new customer acquisition, develop strategic plans to expand market share, and ensure the achievement of sales targets for our animal feed products.
Command Area :
Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chikkaballapura, Chitra Durga, Davana Gere, Kolar, Ramanagaram, Shivamogga and Tumkur.

Travel :

This position requires regular travel within the assigned geographic area.
•Work hours may vary based on business needs, including evenings and weekends for customer visits and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and increase market penetration. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders in the animal feed industry.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities and challenges.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to launch new products and promotional campaigns effectively.
Prepare and analyse sales forecasts, budgets, and reports on a regular basis.
Keeping track of monthly sales of the zone and distributor level target achievement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in sales management within the animal feed industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel within the assigned area and occasionally nationally for meetings and industry events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
